Network+ and CCNA overlap more than either vendor admits. If you are going to end up on Cisco gear, go straight to CCNA and skip ahead.
Network+ earns its place when the environment is mixed, or when a job spec names it explicitly, which happens a lot in government postings. It is also the gentler on-ramp if you have never configured a switch.
CCNA is five days and genuinely hard. People fail it. Give yourself study time after the class rather than booking the exam for the Monday.
