This half day, hands on session gets learners straight into solving a real work problem using Microsoft Copilot Pro. After a short refresher on prompting basics and where Copilot shows up across Microsoft 365, small teams pick a workflow that has been slowing them down, build and test prompts against it in Copilot Chat or an app such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or Teams, and walk out with a working solution.

What you'll be able to do

  • Recall core prompt types used in Copilot, including instruction, question, role based, and contextual prompts
  • Write and test prompts inside Copilot Chat or a Microsoft 365 app such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or Teams
  • Differentiate between strong and weak prompts through hands-on testing
  • Work with a team to design and present a Copilot supported solution
  • Reflect on basic ethical considerations, such as bias, transparency, and data privacy
