Accessibility

Two separate things get asked about here, and they have different answers.

Accessible courseware

Section 508 conformant materials are available on request for most of the catalog. Ask before booking, not after. Some titles come from third parties and need lead time to source in an accessible format, and a handful cannot be supplied that way at all. We will tell you which before you commit to a date.

If you need a VPAT for a specific course, ask and we will get it from the publisher.

Accommodations in class

Live captioning, extended lab time, materials in advance, screen reader compatible files, or a recording where the publisher permits one. Tell us what a participant needs when you book and we will arrange it with the delivering instructor.

Requests made a week or more ahead are almost always straightforward. Requests on the morning of are sometimes not possible, which is a scheduling constraint rather than an unwillingness.

This website

We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA. The catalog, schedule and checkout are keyboard navigable and work with a screen reader. If something here does not work for you, tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. That is more useful than a conformance claim, and we will fix it.
